Objective:  Eliminate a pricey peg board display and to advertise a new product catalog.

Strategy: Showcasing their new catalog of insulator tools, Buckaroos developed a 17 x 26 “peel and place” counter mat that duplicated the cover of the new catalog. The mat was sent to 200 top

Buckaroos POP mattinsulation tool customers throughout the United States.

The mat not only advertises the company’s catalog, it also showcases many of Buckaroos’ premier items as well as the company’s contact information and website. This effectively eliminates the need for a peg board display that costs customers $400. In addition, the peg boards required a large amount of wall space. In the past, only 30 Buckaroos customers requested the peg boards.

 

Results:  The Buckaroos product line is now on display at 175 customer locations (87.5% conversion rate), exposing the product and the catalog and generating dramatically increased sales.  Additionally for the dealers that participated it saved them over $70,000!
